I'm thrilled to join the Sunflower team as Executive Director, bringing 9 years of experience in senior living and over 20 years in management. My qualifications include certifications as an Assisted Living Manager, Montessori dementia care specialist, and Activities Director, and I also volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association. My background spans from skilled nursing homes to hospital settings as a Recreation Therapist, and I hold a bachelor's degree in Nutrition with a minor in Multi-Cultural Diversity from Texas State University. Originally from Chicago, I've lived in Texas for about 19 years and enjoy food, music, and the outdoors. I’m passionate about community involvement and eager to contribute to progressive changes in senior care while breaking the stigma around Assisted Living and Dementia diagnoses.
